Angela & George

BVIs

storm 28 °C

Our very good friends, Angela & George Dimitriadis, joined us for a fortnight's vacation, soon after Beesmej had been re-launched. A week before they arrived, three Tropical Waves passed over us! A & G were lucky with their weather; we had a most enjoyable time together exploring various islands in the British Virgin Islands.
The first of the major trans-Atlantic hurricanes is expected to reach the Caribbean on or about August 25. With this in mind, we sail for St Croix, tomorrow; and, sometime next week, on to Aruba. Aruba is one of the ABC islands, just off the coast of Venezuela; the islands belong to the Dutch Antille group. We will visit the other two islands, Bonaire and Curacao, during September. We plan to return to Bequia in the latter half of October, when the risk of major trans-Atlantic hurricanes become much reduced.
This is the first bulletin on this website; I would welcome feed-back on accessability and quality.
Much love to all from Maggie & Bernard.
